Have you been out again?

Two posts in 2 days. Definitely annual leave time!

Long as fucking day haha. Started with a trip to AMA Warehouse in Yatala – which is the complete opposite direction we intended to head (south-west) but don’t all the best rides start like that???

Hot as hell too 😓 up to 33.2 at our final destination so a day of hot hairdryer action and sweaty butt crack outlines on the bike seat #Eww

Took feckin ages to get from Yatala over to Boonah, home being approx 1 hour from Boonah normally. Stopped at BP Boonah hoping for some food. Nothing. Also a bunch of Harley riders bullied their way to the pumps.

We had already filled up and were moving our bikes so the cars waiting patiently behind could use the pumps while we had a drink. Bunch of rude twats just muscled their way in and around the cars. You’re so tough guys, I hope your penises feel MASSIVE now … handy for jerking each other off I can only assume based on that display.

Stopped in Warwick for a feed at Hungry Jacks. Ahhh the aircon was set to ‘ice’ and made the table freeze too … if I could get my face on the grotty table top I would have lol. Knowing we only had 60kms to get to Stanthorpe 😻

Made it, took our pics of the big apple and the big thermometer and pissed off home.

Cop alerts: heading into Stanthorpe the local cop was pulling in near the big apple while we were going probably a smidge over the limit 👀 a smidge I say!

Then again leaving Warwick, Mr was hauling arse overtaking someone and I was trying to follow but the dickhead with an L plate on sped up and pushed me into overtaking in the ‘no overtaking’ part as a cop was coming the other way. Must have been in the too hard basket he didn’t follow for either of us (Mr Speedy or Miss Illegal Overtaking hahahahaha). Phew!

Then another cop of the straights between Warwick and Aratula. Both of us slightly speeding and drop right off the throttle when we saw the cop car. Bloody heck I’m sure there is a lesson in doing the right thing at all times just in case 😐

The roads though are long and straight with no form of entertainment at all. Literally direct roads to next town. Also Cunningham’s Gap … better heading towards Warwick than towards Brisbane but still a lovely clip of road with an overtaking lane to rival Murwillumbah, perhaps road service not as nice but the seemingly endless corners were gorgeous. Eighty Schmeighty. They deserve more and I obliged where I could. Other parts of the roads (just out of Aratula) I enjoyed watching Mr get airborne. And when I say airborne not his wheels … his bum off the seat 😂😂😂😂

If I had more time we could have stopped at some picturesque areas and I note Queen Mary Falls is out that way as well as Morgan Park 👍🏼. Great for a longish day out.

Off for a nap now, body was absolutely pounded today and eyes are heavy. Even though stuffed, so worth the day out! 4.3 stars on NatAdvisor.com 😋
