Are you serious about vlogging?

In short – no. Today I did a naughty thing as my annual bonus was paid this week. I purchased the GoPro 7 Black *ooohhhh aaahhhh*. That is $489 I will never see again lol.

But wow it is a camera and a half. Also was on special down from $599 so not all bad news and the salesman gave us 20% off accessories so scored a helmet mount as well. Thrifty but sucked in.

The things I’m gonna do with it!!!!!!! I have loads of ideas, most of them fucking stupid and lame 😂😂😂 but piss off I do what I want for my own entertainment not necessarily for the enjoyment of others (kind of like this barely read blog LOL).

This blog has always been and will always be a non-monetary fixture in my riding life for my memories and journey only no one else’s. Mr is along for the journey however it is wholly my own or is at least right now and for the foreseeable future.

I don’t review free / sponsored products. I only review what I have personally purchased and use in my day to day riding.

The capabilities of the 7 black are phenomenal. Every review states this is THEE camera to have for whatever purpose and comes with a full suite of features. I have another cheapo camera I was using but the sound is shit and you can’t reallllyyyy hear all my swearing and general bitch hole-ness. And it’s the best part. Cos we all know my singing isn’t #FuckenLol

Mr also bought one so will be interesting to see how I fit into his riding vids and we have a few ideas of some to do together. Rando short clips, nothing fancy, not Oscar cinematography winner.

Also found another use: Mr’s dad had a stroke last year and has early stages dementia 😢 I adore my in-laws (I’m very lucky, I know!) and it’s very sad. A while ago one of the nephews asked for some photos of Mr, the kids and I to put into a slideshow to try and help him jog his memory.

I don’t know if that was ever done but now Minister Of Dark Arts aka MODA the GP7, (**SO WHAT IF I GIVE EVERYTHING A NAME AND SOMETIMES HAS A HARRY POTTER REFERENCE?***) will be a tool we use to make my father-in-law a DVD to watch even if it’s just boring stuff in our lives.

Connecting any way we can given we have lived in Oz for over 10 years now and my kids are very close to their grandies.

I will keep you updated on my MODA antics. I dunno what will come from it … first time using it I went straight up my nostrils view so clearly I can’t be trusted.

I don’t think WordPress lets you post video content so will add what I can to Insta and might think about a YouTube channel if things get out of control. It’s me so generally always that risk 🤦🏻‍♀️.
