Fuck all, was just going to Gold Coast Bike Night because it was Suzuki night, not to enter anything 😂😂😂
Dunno why I haven’t gone before 🤷🏻♀️ it was worth the short trip down for it. Bouncy castle for the kids, food stalls, slow drags, tyre tossing and show n shine. Oh wait on, I hate crowds of randoms that’s right.
Started at 4pm but the event really didn’t start until the kids/women/men tyre tossing close to 5pm. Kids were awesome and the women. Really loved that a fella with a bung arm (I’m allowed to say bung arm cos Mr does too) had a crack, he did quite well 👍🏼

Old mate in the men’s introduced the spinning toss sort of like hammer throw or shot put where you a little do-si-do and use the momentum of the spin to propel further.
The slow drags were competitive. We only stayed to watch the LAMS bike category. I couldn’t figure out how many runs you got or who was in the finals. Also, you know how much I just LUURRVVVV slow manoeuvres 😒 #YeahNah #DebilitatingFear #NoThanks
There were some folks in Halloween getup … I forgot that was happening and just thought their dress sense was weird LOL. Also a $10 bikini bike wash, fucking bargain, included a photo with the bikini clad models.
Didn’t get one cos no one else was and I didn’t wanna have to ride G Force past everyone 😂😂😂 that will be the time I drop her in spectacular fashion by forgetting which one is the brake.
Lots of yummy food to be had and stalls of which I really didn’t know what they were selling. No sign just stuff out on the tables 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ I like the information brochure, how much, what is it, who would even buy that = me trying to shop then remember I’m not a “proper” girl.
Saw Hayley from ECFR *new FB friend* who I haven’t seen since I went on the ladies ride to Canungra several months back. Great to catch up again as last time I was on the CBR500 now rolling on the big girl.
Not a bad nights free entertainment. Left before the R class slow drags based solely on the wait for that to start. The bathroom is inside the dealer showroom. Perfect spot to manage any expansion in the event although more toilets wouldn’t go astray if that happened.
Loads of parking inside the complex and along the road if you’re like me and don’t wanna go full entrance mode or prefer to do the quiet sneak offs. Last time I did bike night was when it was still at Harry’s Diner 😂😂 you can tell I’m a real social butterfly.
Location: 12 Lawrence Drive, Nerang. Take the Nerang South exit. Good for families, groups, show offs and most importantly – bike enthusiasts.
